The world’s oldest grapevine
Visit the world’s oldest grapevine, proudly growing on the banks of the Drava River in Maribor for more than 450 years and still producing grapes today! Listed in the Guinness World Records, it is the centrepiece of a charming wine museum with tastings. The grapevine is located in the historical Lent district, just a short bus ride from the hotel. It has been awarded the Green Key certificate as an environmentally friendly and historical landmark. When visiting, take the time to stroll through Lent – one of the most picturesque and historically rich districts of Maribor, full of local life and wonderful views of the river.
