A New Addition at Hotel Ptuj

On Saturday, 14 February 2026, the winners of the 18th International Fine Art Award Ex-tempore Ptuj Karneval 2026 were announced, one of the important cultural events that enriches the artistic atmosphere of Slovenia’s oldest town during the carnival season.

The premises of Hotel Ptuj have now been enriched with a new artwork. This year’s Ex-tempore award winner is the Trieste-based painter Klavdija Marušič with her work “Farewell, Winter.” By incorporating contemporary art into our spaces, we aim to offer guests an even more authentic experience of the city while connecting the hotel with its cultural heritage and creative spirit.

We are proud to contribute to the ongoing story of art and tradition in Ptuj.
