Instructions on the Method of Notification (Official Gazette of the RS No. 109\/2023), we have prepared a notice on the methods of informing drinking water consumers in 2025.<\/p><p data-start=\"0\" data-end=\"502\">PUBLIC INFORMATION IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE DECREE ON DRINKING WATER (Official Gazette of the RS No. 61\/2023)<\/p><p data-start=\"504\" data-end=\"772\"><strong data-start=\"504\" data-end=\"609\">1.) Identification of the operator of the individual water supply system of P.E. Identification of the supply area<br \/><\/strong><br data-start=\"815\" data-end=\"818\" \/>The borehole is located at the site with GK coordinates Y = 406 725, X = 149 200, on land parcel number 196-12, cadastral municipality Kranjska Gora, which is located within a drinking water protection area protected by the Decree on the Protection of Water Sources and Measures for the Protection of Drinking Water in the Municipality of Kranjska Gora for the facility Hotel Kranjska Gora \u2013 <a class=\"decorated-link\" href=\"https:\/\/obcina.kranjska-gora.si\/act\/26864\" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener\" data-start=\"1210\" data-end=\"1251\">https:\/\/obcina.kranjska-gora.si\/act\/26864<\/a>.<br data-start=\"1252\" data-end=\"1255\" \/>NUMBER OF USERS SUPPLIED: Guests and employees of Hotel Kranjska Gora \u2013 depending on occupancy \u2013 maximum 180 persons.<br data-start=\"1376\" data-end=\"1379\" \/>LOCATION AND TYPE OF NATURAL WATER: Borehole in a meadow at the edge of the forest \u2013 groundwater<br data-start=\"1479\" data-end=\"1482\" \/>WATER TREATMENT METHODS IN THE WATER SUPPLY SYSTEM (DISINFECTION, COAGULATION, FILTRATION): Drinking water from the individual water supply system is not treated prior to use during distribution.<br data-start=\"1681\" data-end=\"1684\" \/>TECHNICAL DATA ON THE WATER SUPPLY SYSTEM \u2013 ABSTRACTION (BOREHOLE): number of FACILITIES: 1 (with shut-off valves and electrical supply \u2013 in an underground reinforced concrete shaft)<br data-start=\"1870\" data-end=\"1873\" \/>TECHNICAL DATA ON THE WATER SUPPLY SYSTEM \u2013 PIPELINE: Total pipeline length: approx. 200 m<\/p><p data-start=\"1971\" data-end=\"2499\"><strong data-start=\"1971\" data-end=\"2089\">3.) Results of monitoring the quality of drinking water of the internal water supply system of Hotel Kranjska Gora<br \/><\/strong><br data-start=\"2089\" data-end=\"2092\" \/>Analyses of drinking water are carried out on the internal water supply system as follows: 3 x per year microbiological analyses of drinking water, 1 x per year chemical analyses of drinking water at the borehole.<br data-start=\"2305\" data-end=\"2308\" \/>The results of drinking water monitoring for parameters A, B, C of Annex 1 of the Decree on Drinking Water and other chemical parameters are available at the link: <strong data-start=\"2472\" data-end=\"2497\"><a href=\"https:\/\/eh.si\/spremljanje-kakovosti-pitne-vode\/\">MEASUREMENT RESULTS<\/a><\/strong><\/p><p data-start=\"2501\" data-end=\"3645\"><strong data-start=\"2501\" data-end=\"2651\">4.) Identified risks in the supply of drinking water \u2013 information on potential risks to human health and general instructions and recommendations<br \/><\/strong><br data-start=\"2651\" data-end=\"2654\" \/>In the area of the water supply system of Hotel Kranjska Gora, the operator of the water supply system has identified the following risks in the supply of drinking water:<br data-start=\"2824\" data-end=\"2827\" \/>Contamination of drinking water may occur due to excessive rise of groundwater or as a result of improper farming and cultivation of nearby areas, extreme weather conditions such as heavy rainfall, and intensive snowmelt. As this is a capture area, there is a possibility of surface water intrusion into groundwater.<br data-start=\"3143\" data-end=\"3146\" \/>Natural and other disasters (floods, earthquakes, spills, etc.) and other unforeseeable events with the possibility of drinking water contamination.<br data-start=\"3294\" data-end=\"3297\" \/>Among other things, a health risk associated with the consumption of drinking water is also contamination of water with animal or human excreta (feces).<br data-start=\"3449\" data-end=\"3452\" \/>Occurrence or suspicion of an outbreak \/ waterborne epidemic.<br data-start=\"3513\" data-end=\"3516\" \/>Contamination may occur due to pipeline failure, as a result of maintenance works, and due to changed pressure in the pipeline.<\/p><p data-start=\"3647\" data-end=\"5444\"><strong data-start=\"3647\" data-end=\"3852\">5.) For the purpose of preventing health risks due to conditions in the internal water supply system, users are advised to familiarize themselves with and follow the instructions published by the NIJZ.<br \/><\/strong><br data-start=\"3852\" data-end=\"3855\" \/><a class=\"decorated-link\" href=\"https:\/\/nijz.si\/moje-okolje\/pitna-voda\/priporocila-navodila-in-mnenja-za-pitno-vodo\/\" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener\" data-start=\"3855\" data-end=\"3939\">https:\/\/nijz.si\/moje-okolje\/pitna-voda\/priporocila-navodila-in-mnenja-za-pitno-vodo\/<\/a><br \/><br data-start=\"3939\" data-end=\"3942\" \/>NIJZ \u2013 National Institute of Public Health is a state-authorized institution that provides recommendations regarding the implementation of safe water supply, ensuring health-compliant drinking water, and recommendations for action in emergency situations.<br data-start=\"4197\" data-end=\"4200\" \/>Recommendations in the field of drinking water are available on their website: <a class=\"decorated-link\" href=\"https:\/\/nijz.si\/moje-okolje\/pitna-voda\/\" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener\" data-start=\"4279\" data-end=\"4318\">https:\/\/nijz.si\/moje-okolje\/pitna-voda\/<\/a>, where you can find the following recommendations:<br data-start=\"4369\" data-end=\"4372\" \/>\u00b7 Recommendations for building owners on the maintenance of internal water supply installations<br data-start=\"4476\" data-end=\"4479\" \/>\u00b7 Recommendations for building owners on measures to reduce and eliminate risks if the cause of non-compliance of drinking water is the internal water supply installation<br data-start=\"4658\" data-end=\"4661\" \/>\u00b7 Recommendations for building owners on measures to reduce and eliminate risks if the cause of elevated lead concentrations in drinking water is the internal water supply installation<br data-start=\"4854\" data-end=\"4857\" \/>\u00b7 Prevention of the proliferation of Legionella in internal water supply installations<br data-start=\"4952\" data-end=\"4955\" data-is-only-node=\"\" \/>\u00b7 Recommendations for carrying out thermal shock (heat disinfection) in controlling the proliferation of Legionella in internal water supply installations<br data-start=\"5118\" data-end=\"5121\" \/>\u00b7 Recommendations for action when supplying drinking water with tankers<br data-start=\"5201\" data-end=\"5204\" \/>\u00b7 Recommendations for hygienic handling and storage of drinking water during final distribution by tankers<br data-start=\"5319\" data-end=\"5322\" \/>\u00b7 Instructions on boiling water<br data-start=\"5362\" data-end=\"5365\" \/>\u00b7 Recommendations for water use when a boiling-water order is issued<\/p><p data-start=\"5446\" data-end=\"7664\"><strong data-start=\"5446\" data-end=\"5497\">6.) Advice on how to act responsibly with water<br \/><\/strong><br data-start=\"5497\" data-end=\"5500\" \/>Responsible water use is not only about saving water, but also means the reasonable use of detergents, dishwashing agents, cosmetic products, and cleaning agents both in hotel operations and during guests\u2019 stay at the hotel. Responsible behavior also means that public sewage systems (toilets) are not used as trash bins. In the catering segment, we strive for rational water use for food preparation, in the accommodation segment for rational use in the cleaning process, and for reducing the amount of waste. We also act responsibly with water when we drink tap water.<br data-start=\"6070\" data-end=\"6073\" \/><strong data-start=\"6073\" data-end=\"6141\"><br \/>How we can contribute ourselves to the quality of drinking water<br \/><\/strong><br data-start=\"6141\" data-end=\"6144\" \/>\u00b7 Limit the use of detergents, dishwashing and cosmetic products as much as possible.<br data-start=\"6238\" data-end=\"6241\" \/>\u00b7 Do not pour hazardous substances into the soil, water, or sewage system.<br data-start=\"6324\" data-end=\"6327\" \/>\u00b7 Use hazardous substances reasonably in the cleaning process.<br data-start=\"6398\" data-end=\"6401\" \/>\u00b7 Use drinking water in a planned manner and in moderate quantities.<br data-start=\"6478\" data-end=\"6481\" \/>\u00b7 Consistently separate waste and buy only what we truly need, as water is required for the production of every product.<br data-start=\"6610\" data-end=\"6613\" \/>\u00b7 Grazing animals should graze away from water protection areas to prevent fecal contamination of water.<br data-start=\"6726\" data-end=\"6729\" \/><strong data-start=\"6729\" data-end=\"6755\"><br \/>Tips for saving water:<br \/><\/strong><br data-start=\"6755\" data-end=\"6758\" \/>\u00b7 Turning off the tap while brushing teeth. By doing so, you can save up to 20 liters of water per brushing. When brushing your teeth, turn off the tap and rinse your mouth with water from a glass.<br data-start=\"6964\" data-end=\"6967\" \/>\u00b7 While shaving, rinse the razor in a sink filled with warm water and not under running water.<br data-start=\"7070\" data-end=\"7073\" \/>\u00b7 Instead of a bath, which uses approximately 250 liters of water, choose a shower and limit shower time.<br data-start=\"7187\" data-end=\"7190\" \/>\u00b7 Do not flush tissues, paper scraps, cotton swabs, coffee grounds, packaging, medicines, and similar items down the toilet.<br data-start=\"7323\" data-end=\"7326\" \/>\u00b7 Regular inspection of the water supply installation.<br data-start=\"7389\" data-end=\"7392\" \/>\u00b7 Use rainwater for watering.<br data-start=\"7430\" data-end=\"7433\" \/>\u00b7 Use water that was used for rinsing vegetables or fruit to water plants.<br data-start=\"7516\" data-end=\"7519\" \/>\u00b7 Do not fill swimming pools and whirlpools during drought.<br data-start=\"7587\" data-end=\"7590\" \/>\u00b7 Use water flow regulators (aerators or mesh inserts) on taps.<\/p><p data-start=\"7666\" data-end=\"7765\"><strong data-start=\"7666\" data-end=\"7763\">7.) Instructions and recommendations for the maintenance of the internal water supply network<\/strong><\/p><p>During the low season or hotel closure, the consumption of drinking water is reduced or interrupted. Therefore, there is a possibility that drinking water samples taken during this period may be non-compliant. The National Institute of Public Health has therefore prepared instructions on how to act in such cases:<\/p><p>\u00b7 Before reopening the hotel or after prolonged non-use of drinking water, it is necessary to ensure intensive flushing of the water supply network. It is recommended to flush it for 15 minutes, in pulses with turbulent flow.
